Green SmoothieAntioxidant Rich Green Smoothie

Ingredients:
16 oz. Coconut Water, Coconut Milk, or Non-Dairy
Beverage of Choice
About 2 Cups Kale, Spinach or Mix of Any Green
2 tsp Spirulina or Chlorella (Blue Green Algae)
2 Scoops High Quality Plant Based Protein Powder (We recommend Sun Warrior or Garden of Life)
1 Cup Frozen Berries
2 TBS Flax or Coconut Oil
4 TBS Chia or Flax Seed Divided
A Dash of Basil, Mint or Parsley (Optional)

Directions:
1. Add liquid to blender first.
2. Add the remaining ingredients EXCEPT protein powder. Can add additional almond milk if needed.
3. Blend until smooth then add protein powder and blend an additional 10-15 seconds.
4. Pour into two glasses. Mix 2 TBS of either the chia or flax into the smoothie and enjoy. The second smoothie place in refrigerator and add in chia or flax before serving.

Note: The reason to add the protein powder last is because the plant based protein mixes can thicken and congeal if blended for too long. If omitting the protein powder replace with the other half of banana. Cut your bananas in half and freeze for future smoothies, they will hold in the freezer for about 2 months. All of our recipes use frozen fruits in place of ice for thicker, richer flavored smoothies. For a sweeter smoothie add a drop or two of stevia liquid or minkfruit sugar.

Prep Time: Approx. 15 mins
Yields: Two 16 oz. glasses
