Warm Brussels Sprout Slaw
8 oz Fresh Brussels Sprouts, Shaved (Can purchase pre-shaved for convenience)
1/2 Shallot, Finely Chopped
1/8 Cup Hazelnuts or Pine Nuts, Roasted and Coarsely Chopped
1 TBS Grass-fed Ghee or Butter
1 tsp Olive Oil
1 tsp Fresh Lemon Juice
Salt & Pepper to Taste
- In a large skillet heat ghee over medium heat until hot
- Add shaved sprouts and sauté until tender crisp, about 8-10 minutes
- Remove from heat and toss with olive oil, fresh lemon juice, shallots, nuts, salt and pepper.
- Serve warm or room temperature.
