Chocolate Peanut Butter Smoothie
1 Cup Almond Milk or Non-Dairy Beverage of Choice
1 Cup Fresh Baby Spinach
1/2 Frozen Banana
1/2 Cup Frozen Mango
1 TBS Raw Cacao Powder
1 TBS Organic Peanut Butter (Or Nut Butter of Choice)
1/2 tsp Cinnamon (Optional)
1 Scoop Chocolate Protein Powder (We recommend plant based powders such as Sun Warrior or Garden of Life)
1. Add liquid to blender first.
2. Add the remaining ingredients EXCEPT protein powder. Can add additional almond milk if needed.
3. Blend until smooth then add protein powder and blend an additional 10-15 seconds.
4. Pour into a glass and enjoy.
Note: The reason to add the protein powder last is because the plant based protein mixes can thicken and congeal if blended for too long. Add additional peanut butter for extra flavor. If omitting the protein powder replace with the other half of banana and add an additional scoop of cacao powder. Cut your bananas in half and freeze for future smoothies, they will hold in the freezer for about 2 months. All of our recipes use frozen fruits in place of ice for thicker, richer flavored smoothies.
